A Note About Nature: Palmetto Bugs Our home is located in a beautiful beachside area where warm weather and humidity are part of the charm and so is the local wildlife. While we have regular professional pest control in place and keep the property thoroughly clean, occasional sightings of palmetto bugs (large outdoor cockroaches common in coastal regions) may happen. They are not a reflection of cleanliness, but rather a part of life near the coast. We do our best to prevent their entry, but we want to set clear expectations in case you encounter one during your stay. CLEANING & SANITIZATION Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions you might have. - Self check-in anytime after 4:00 PM on the date of your arrival. - Check-out anytime before 10:00 AM on the date of your departure. - A signed rental agreement may be required for all reservations. - You as the guest agree that reservations without a signed rental agreement are subject to cancellation and will adhere to the cancellation policy. This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $49 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $3 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. This laid-back 4BR/3BA cottage in the Cloisters at Myrtlewood is just 2.5 miles from Broadway at the Beach and 1.5 miles from the ocean. Sleeps 8. KITCHEN & DINING The chef in your group will love crafting culinary masterpieces in the gourmet kitchen. A large center island offers plenty of prep space, while granite countertops and stainless steel appliances create high-end ambience. Perch at the breakfast bar with seating for two, or convene around the six-seat dining table to enjoy festive vacation meals. BEDROOMS & BATHS This home includes four bedrooms that sleep eight guests total. Three full bathrooms are stocked with complimentary starter supplies of toiletries and bath amenities. The master suite is furnished with a plush king bed. The en-suite bathroom provides a double vanity and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom and third bedrooms offer a full bed and a large closet space. A fourth guest room features a king bed, TV and bathroom just across the hall. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS Extra perks at this rental include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and driveway parking for one vehicle (the garage is not available for guest use). Please note motorcycles, trailers, and RVs are strictly prohibited. THE LOCATION Known for world-class golfing, Myrtle Beach offers an abundance of courses. Close to this rental, you’ll find Pine Lakes Country Club (1 mile), River Oaks Golf Plantation (5.5 miles), and of course the on-site Myrtlewood Golf Club (0.7 miles). Early check-in or late check-out may be available if cleaning is complete or if same day guest booking.
